We Seek You, Lord

But may all who search for you be filled with joy and gladness in you. May those who love your salvation repeatedly shout, “God is great!” But as for me, I am poor and needy; please hurry to my aid, O God. You are my helper and my savior; O Lord, do not delay.

Almighty God,

You are El Shaddai. All power is in Your hands. Grant us more mercy—the same mercy You gave when You sent Your only begotten Son, Jesus, to save us from sin. We seek You now for we know You gave Him to overcome this fallen world so full of darkness. We seek You with all of our hearts. We cry out to You for You are God alone—our very present help in time of trouble. Come quickly, Lord Jesus. We are in need.
