Rejoice!

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Trusting in God means that whatever circumstance we find ourselves in, we are to rejoice. Always. It can sometimes be difficult to be grateful in misery. However, being miserable is a state of mind that can be overcome with gratitude because God rewards a thankful heart with joy and gladness. No one alive has ever heard a dead body express unhappiness or misery. So as we live and breathe, through God's grace, we are able and will always have a reason to rejoice.

We must let Jesus find us thankful for all He has already done as we pray for our hearts' desires. So again, I say: REJOICE! No matter what.

Rejoice always!

Pray constantly.

Give thanks in everything, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
