Prayers of the Heart

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.

Psalm 51:10-11 New King James Version (NKJV)


Gracious and Merciful Lord,


God and Father of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, You sit high and look low upon all Your hands have made. You look deep inside our hearts and know us completely. We cannot hide what is in our hearts from You. Through Christ, You offer us strength for our weakness and lack. We pray for the Holy Spirit to cleanse our hearts and help us to live pleasing in Your sight, so that we may worship You. Thank You for Your heart that loves without condition as we come to You in truth. As You continuously bless our hearts, teach us to love like You and bless the hearts of others.

In Jesus' name we pray.

Amen
