Call Him!

Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.

Jeremiah 33:3 NKJV

God has issued an invitation to us all to come and speak with Him. He is our Creator and is well aware of our limitations. There are so many things we do not know and understand. It is His will that we should be in constant communion with Him. By prayer we communicate with God and Jesus taught us how to pray to our Heavenly Father (Matthew 6:5-13). We don't need eloquence or a wordy vocabulary to talk to God. And it is not required that other people hear us when we pray. Even if we do not vocally utter a single word, God who reads minds and hearts hears every "Help me, Lord" we feel. He simply tells us to call on Him and He promises to answer. As we call on Him fervently and continuously, He will tell us things we cannot possibly know in any other way. With an offer like this, why should we ever cease to pray?

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
